This AJAX powered jQuery plugin allows visitors to your site to search and receive information on hundreds of medical topics. It is a great enhancement to any medical related website and it will keep visitors around longer. The plugin communicates via ajax with the MedlinePlus web service owned by the US National Library of Medicine. The plugin is 100% AJAX and you do not need a server backend!
In addition to the health topic information, you can also configure the plugin to grab related videos. This feature is optional and can easily be configured in the plugin options.
The plugin incorporates jQuery UI and will automatically adopt your jQuery UI theme (if you already have one).
Full documentation is included.
The plugin is really simple to use and you do not have to deal with any data files. Everything is pulled in via AJAX and it does not matter what kind of backend/server your website is on.
